Shirley Bell Designs Launches Online Gallery and Store

JAMESTOWN, RHODE ISLAND -- Jamestown Rhode Island native artist Shirley Bell recently relaunched her online presence with a much improved gallery and online store, enabling visitors to admire and purchase her inspired watercolors. Her website is available at www.shirleybelldesigns.com where visitors can browse through hundreds of beautiful images of animals, birds, insects, ocean scenes, and more including Shirley's luminous paintings of local scenes such as Jamestown's Beavertail Light House.

About Shirley Bell Designs:

Shirley began painting in watercolor 25 years ago. She is continuously inspired by her natural surroundings on Conanicut Island. Shirley's originals began selling in galleries and gift shops through out the country. Trying to keep up with the demand, Shirley began reproducing her artwork in giclee form. Then, in 2006 she launched the company Shirley Bell Designs which features over 300 of her images gracing beautiful stationery and gift items. She operates from her home studio in Jamestown, Rhode Island. Jamestown is a beautiful island of 10 square miles in the middle of Narragansett Bay. Shirley and her husband Rolf Knudsen love to stroll and kayak around their neighborhood, as well as visit the cliffs abutting the ocean on the Southern end of the island at Beavertail.

 The beauty and simplicity of Shirley Bell Designs offerings is what sets their company apart from the world of mass production. Each image in Shirley's range is created by hand in her art studio, and every image has touched her life in some way. The short run fabrication process is all done on site, paying attention to every last detail. They use the highest quality materials from American companies. Always environmentally conscious, they recycle, and use as many recycled products as possible.

We believe it is a gift to be remembered by receiving a beautiful card with a simple note from a loved one. A special card is often saved as a memento or left out simply to admire.
