DSWA Celebrates the Work-at-Home Entrepreneur During Party With Your Kids Week

KAILUA, HI -- In honor of all Direct Sellers and Network Marketing professionals throughout the United States and globally, The Direct Selling Women's Alliance, www.dswa.org is celebrating the home-based entrepreneur and their families by holding its annual "Party With Your Kids" week. In recognition of the direct selling profession; a true alternative to the typical 9-5 job, the week of October 18-24 will commemorate and celebrate the entrepreneurial business owner and their families.

During this week, the Direct Selling Women's Alliance is collaborating with all direct selling companies and their distributors to rally around the mission of showing the next generation that there are choices in their careers other than just working in corporate America. With a direct selling business, women and men alike are allowed the freedom and independence to be there for families…something that a work-at-home business truly offers.

The "Party With Your Kids" week provides young boys and girls an introduction to the direct selling profession by working with their parents in their business, allowing them to see their moms and dads in a variety of roles and with different people, which reinforces the importance of teamwork as they grow their work-at-home business. Kids are able to see firsthand the freedom a direct selling or network marketing company can bring…and that their parent's are creating a lasting legacy with their business that can be handed down generation to generation.

As part of the Party With Your Kids week long celebration, the DSWA has created a special website for all work-at-home entrepreneurs, their children and grandchildren: partywithyourkids.com. This website will offer a free family business tool kit that parents and children alike will benefit from…from tele-classes on turning your home-based business into a family business to creating a family goal poster night; the family business tool kit will be an added benefit to helping kids learn about their parent's home-based career. The partywithyourkids.com website will provide an interactive environment where children will have the ability to discover more about their parent's direct selling business and have fun while learning.

To be able to share their personal stories with Direct Sellers around the world, the DSWA has created a "Party With Your Kids" facebook fan page under their events tab at www.facebook.com/thedswa. Entrepreneurs are invited to share their tips and strategies for running a successful home business and how it has changed their lives and the lives of their families.

To add to the celebration, the DSWA has gathered an impressive list of prizes valued into the thousands.
