The award ceremony, attended by over 500 representatives of language schools and education agents, was held on Sept 1st, 2007 at the Royal Lancaster Hotel
The LTM Star Awards are hosted by Language Travel Magazine, a leading journal in the English language teaching industry. They recognise excellence in business performance and are voted for by education agencies worldwide.
This year there were over 900 entries for the awards from English language schools all over the globe. English Language Company won the Award for Best Language School Southern Hemisphere out of a strong field of well known language schools from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and South America.
Education agents who voted for English Language Company commented on the consistently excellent feedback from students who had taken language courses at the school. They also noted the innovative and modern approaches to language learning available at ELC, the modern facilities and above all, the amazing mix of nationalities for which the school is famous.
