BOSTON, MA -- Kspin Designs a Children's Clothing Boutique will be hosting a Black Tie Fundraiser/Trunk in support of Melanoma Research.
Kspin Designs, a Children's Couture Clothing Boutique located in Boston, MA has been engaged not only in fashion, but also melanoma awareness. The owner, Kerry Lynn Spindler, was a fashion model who was diagnosed with Melanoma at the age of 27. Over a decade later, she is passionate her my efforts to teach others, especially children, about the significant health benefits of promoting sun safety.
Kerry Lynn is confident that using fashion as a platform will teach kids (and parents) at an early age how to prevent the dangers our skin cancer. Introducing sunscreen as a "fashion accessory" will aid in teaching kids to make smarter, crucial decisions regarding tanning in their vital formative years. Simply put: such decisions save lives.
With both fashion and modeling experience behind Kspin Designs, the goal it to make all kids feel comfortable in their own (tan free) skin. Through children's fashion and education, it has become a fulfilling prophecy for Kerry Lynn to be able to spread awareness on a local and national level.
