Susan Di Staulo Named Fashion Director of RUNWAY Beauty Magazine

SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- Susan Di Staulo, model with the SIM AGENCY and independent fashion designer was appointed fashion director of RUNWAY Beauty Magazine by Vincent Mazzotta, the CEO of RUNWAY.

It was through her association with Aimee Sugar, her agent and the owner of the SIM Agency that Di Staulo developed a working, creative, collaboration with the founders of the magazine. "We are quite pleased and very excited that SIM talent is represented in all areas of media. We are hoping this will be the beginning of a long-standing and solid bond with RUNWAY." said Sugar.

RUNWAY Beauty Magazine is scheduled to make its hard copy debut in six different countries. The USA edition will be available starting June 19, 2008, In over 473 Barnes and Nobel stores.The magazine covers fashion, runway reports, specific designers, style icons, and trends.

The international magazine is based in Paradise Valley, Arizona, but will remain global and varied in its fashion coverage. " I am thrilled to have the opportunity to mix my American values with international reporting. I suspect a conflation of American and International aesthetics will lend to an authentic and original viewpoint." stated Di Staulo. "I especially look forward to working with our Beauty Director, former model and celebrated International Beauty Expert, Clarissa Burt. I believe her experiences living abroad will add to the content of the magazine."

The launch party for RUNWAY will take place on June 1, 2008 At ROKA Restaurant in Scottsdale, AZ .

Susan Di Staulo Holds bachelors degrees from both Sarah Lawrence College and The Parsons School of Design. She earned her masters degree from Columbia University in the City of New York, where she concentrated her thesis on authenticity and originality in teaching fashion design through affective based heuristic measures.
