SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA -- On September 11, eLUXURY.com hosted a lavish Fashion Week party at Sixty Thompson in Manhattan's SoHo district.
With New York City as a spectacular backdrop, Fashion Week party-goers-which included fashion bloggers from FabSugar.com and Shefinds.com, magazine editors from Marie Claire and designers like Tracy Reese-reveled "rooftop-style" in a wild, paparazzi-like atmosphere, in anticipation of the Spring 2009 collections.
In true eLUXURY form, New York Fashion Week guests noshed on delectable appetizers, like banana blossom and artichoke salad, from Sixty Thompson's acclaimed Kittichai restaurant. In addition, eLUXURY brought in San Francisco mixologist, Ronn Vigh of the Orbit Room, adding local flavor to the mix. While Dom Perignon, Chopin, and Ruinart Rose were among the LVMH (Moët Hennessey Louis Vuitton) offerings, many chose to sip on Vigh's exclusive "eLUXIR" cocktail; a hibiscus-meets-high fashion concoction that consists of fresh blackberries, ginger syrup, organic lemon juice, hibiscus tea, vodka, champagne and a mint leaf garnish.
eLUXURY Fashion Week party guests, including merchants and attendees alike, wore red carpet-worthy designs from Zac Posen, Narciso Rodriguez, D&G Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli, Maison Martin Margiela, Louis Vuitton, and Dior. The night was a glamorous, unforgettable affair, as San Francisco's fashion front-runner delivered a luxurious taste of things to come.
