Tony Duquette Settles Infringement Suit Against Christopher Norman, Inc.

Tony Duquette, Inc. alleged that Norman infringed the Duquette proprietary name and federally registered trademarks and copyrights by producing and marketing a textile product called "Duquette Malachite" Fabric. Brunschwig was named in the suit because Brunschwig was the authorized distributor of Norman's products. The lawsuit sought injunctive relief and damages. Tony Duquette, Inc. has an exclusive licensing arrangement with Jim Thomson, Inc. for a collection of woven and printed textiles for decorative home and commercial installations including an authorized malachite pattern taken directly from the original hand-drawn Tony Duquette design from the Duquette archives.
