BIRMINGHAM -- Cloggs.co.uk, a leading online footwear retailer, may have a successful summer with FitFlop but now that they winter weather has set in, Cloggs.co.uk are looking for another brand to secure similar success for this Winter.
Hunter Boots, seem to be the answer. The wellingtons, which have the coveted Royal Seal of Approval, are of superior production quality to other wellingtons on the market. The Hunter brand has also received excellent promotion during the festival season, with several celebrities spotted wearing hunter wellies, including Blur vocalist Alex James.
Cloggs have placed over £300,000 in the Hunter brand for the Autumn/Winter 2010 period. However, Director Damian Scarlett is confident that the boots will live up to expectations;
"They're the Royals Royce of Wellies, customers always comment on how good the quality [of the boots] is - the comfort is exceptional "
Scarlett went on to say that Cloggs.co.uk has always been good at spotting market trends early and investing quickly. The evidence of this is the equally massive investment made in the FitFlop brand this summer, which paid off as customers flocked to the Cloggs site to purchase a pair.
With winter fast approaching it seems the Cloggs investment will pay off - sales of the Hunter Wellies have already begun to peak and the winter season hasn't even fully fallen. A full range of Hunter Boot styles are available online, with prices ranging from £50-£100 per pair.
The team leading Cloggs.co.uk has over 35 years' experience when it comes to high street retail and began trading online over 10 years ago. The company now stocks over 200,000 items in a range of specialist departments including; womens shoes, womens boots, mens shoes and mens boots. The Cloggs.co.uk 'clicks and bricks' tactic is also a success, with the Bull Ring store celebrating its one year anniversary. The company, as a whole, is looking forward to what will hopefully be a very successful Winter.
