Christmas Racing Gives Clues For Grand National Runners And Cheltenham Betting

Dec 24, 2010

BRISTOL, ENGLAND -- Due to poor weather many Christmas meetings are being cancelled or postponed. The main races over this festive season are the Paddy Power Chase and The King George VI Chase. Both races give racing punters an early guide to Grand National runners and the Cheltenham Gold Cup. At present both are scheduled to go ahead.

The Paddy Power Chase is one of the main races where potential Grand National Runners will have their final outing before the Grand National weights are released. The bookies favourites for this year's Paddy Power Chase are Becauseicouldntsee, Jack The Bus and Glenquest. All can be backed @ 12/1.

The King George Chase at Kempton is also in jeopardy of being cancelled, but is at present scheduled to go ahead. Kauto Star is going for his fifth consecutive win, and Imperial Commander is looking to back up this year's Cheltenham Gold Cup win. The King George Chase gives racing punters some crucial clues before the Gold Cup in March. All racing punters are advised to follow the racing on Boxing Day to get some tips for their Cheltenham Betting. The bookies clear favourite for this race is Kauto Star.
