NORCROSS, GA -- Austin and Dustin this year are finally able to give their parents what they wanted for many years - two clean, sober and productive sons.
Dustin had suffered from long term methamphetamine addiction, when three years ago, he finally enrolled in the Narconon Drug Rehab Program. Now, he has been clean since graduation.
The boys' mother describes the holidays this year "I feel relief this Christmas, not stressed, but blessed. Going shopping for my sons is pleasurable because I know the things that I am buying are not going to be sold or traded, but enjoyed.
Something as simple as Christmas shopping - most people take that for granted - but for years our family bought based things on the value or if the stuff would be hocked for drugs.
Worse yet, we worried that one of our sons would miss Christmas because of an untimely drug related death.
Our fake smiles and excuses to family members never really covered up the fact that both sons were missing or late for Christmas because they were high. When they arrived they looked hung over."
Dustin can't really remember those Christmases too well, but what he remembers is getting high, at the family home, "Even on Christmas I would sneak into the bathroom and snort or smoke meth. I was real messed up and I don't remember much about those past Christmases. I can't change the past but I feel good about where I am today and am really looking forward to Christmas this year because my brother is clean too. This is really going to mean a lot to my parents."

Austin agrees with his brother "This is going to be a great Christmas because both of us are clean"
