SEMINOLE, FL -- Halsatek Innovations LLC, the leader in Infrared Exercise Equipment, releases StimuLight, a device that projects infrared light energy known to naturally double the amount of body fat burned when combined with any cardio workout. StimuLight can be used with most cardio equipment such as bikes, treadmills or elliptical machines.
Now that the fitness industry will have a way to offer clients accelerated weight loss results from exercise, this could significantly impact the entire industry.
"The challenge that the fitness industry has in attracting the weight loss market is that customers want to see results faster than exercise equipment often provides," says Andrew Stebbins, developer of StimuLight. "People lose inches much faster with near-infrared exercise like the kind StimuLight provides, so you can offer a solution to that problem."
StimuLight works by producing certain wavelengths of light that are absorbed by the chromophores of the cell, and stimulate the metabolic processes in the cells. A second effect is the release of the "anti-aging" hormone, HGH. Ultimately, using the custom StimuLight Express Workout routine, the user can burn up to double the body fat in a 20 minute workout than in an ordinary 40 minute workout.
The discovery that near-infrared stimulates the mitochondria of the cells to produce more adenosine triphosphate (ATP) was made in the 1980's. ATP affects the metabolism of every cell, increases cell regeneration, and is now used in surgery, cancer treatments, wound healing, cardiovascular rehab, and skin treatments. The combination of infrared with exercise, also known as infratherapy, was first commercially available in Europe in 2000 but continues to be very expensive. StimuLight is the first device to make this technology affordable for gyms, personal trainers, spas, weight loss clinics, and even home use.
StimuLight can be purchased with cardio exercise machines, or bought separately for use with existing equipment.
