Pub Decor Announces Beer Collectables and Business Assets Auction

KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI -- Pub Decor, LLC. has teamed up with Smith Auction Group to present one of the largest beer collectables and business assets auction. The event will be held on July 12, 2007 at 5401 Independence Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64123 and online at http://www.bidspotter.com/forms/imagegallery.php?gallery=4477. 

The online auction bidding will be available to the public before July 12th but the main event will not commence until July 12th, 2007 at 9AM Central. According to Mr. Desmond, the CEO of Pub Decor, the auction will include dozens of nostalgic bar signs, mirrors and unique neon signs which were displayed in their warehouse showroom. 

Popular items are included in the auction as well. Most people are familiar with the MGD neon signs, Carlsberg and Heineken mirrors, and Budweiser signs available because they are on display at many establishments. These signs, although not rare, are very desirable because of their name recognition and popularity of the beer itself. 

The Rheingold label neon sign is one of the rare but simple finds with the writing in yellow neon and "Bien Fria" below in white neon. Rheingold beer is a New York beer company once famous for its yearly beauty competition called the "Miss Rheingold" pageant. Each year a new “Miss Rheingold” was featured in their advertisements. 

One unusual sign is the Coors Red Light neon with a red outline of a man in neon on a brick like background. There is a round sign just below the waist of the neon man on the left that has the writing "Coors Red Light" and another writing on the right of the neon man that reads "Big Man’s Beer". 

Other neons include cigarette brands with Marlboro, Camel, and Winston logos, soda brands with Coka Cola and Pepsi logos and sports brands with St. Louis Rams mascot logo are available as well. This auction will please the avid collector as well as the casual browser hoping to design a game room or home bar.
