BRIGHTON, SUSSEX -- The Stag Company, Brighton based providers of stag party packages in locations across the UK and Europe, has announced a series of new hires and reshuffles in their sales and adminstration departments.
Following on from a year that saw a number of new additions to the company, including the creation of an online marketing department, the latest recruitment drive ties in with the company's business plan for 2012 and the increased demand for its services.
"2011 was our busiest year to date and we firstly needed to hire additional sales staff to cope with a rise in enquiries, particularly for the Edinburgh stag do packages proving popular in the run-up to Burns Night," states Stag Company Managing Director Rob Hill. "We then took on more admin staff to deal with extra payments, drafting of itineraries and liaising with new venues and suppliers."
Joining the stag sales team is Aidan Young, Alexandra Parr, Ashlee Mitchell, Mike Ager and Jason Burke. All bring to their roles extensive experience in the events industry, Alexandra joining from a corporate sales background.
The admin team sees Sam Jackson made admin manager, with Tiffany Tremain added to the team.
The organisation anticipate an extremely busy 2012, with the first quarter seeing Edinburgh stag weekends as the most in demand due to the forthcoming Burns Night celebrations in the Scottish capital.
"We want to continue to grow the business and these new hires are integral to that process," explains Hill. "We've now set up dedicated EU and UK sales and admin teams, to further improve the service which we provide."
The company has also announced plans to acquire additional office space at their Brighton headquarters and the creation of an entirely new customer login page for groups embarking on stag weekends.
