STAMFORD, CONNECTICUT -- Limited Edition Imports, Inc. (Stamford, CT) has acquired the wine portfolio of C&D Wines for exclusive distribution throughout Connecticut. The newly acquired portfolio consists of wines from the Loire Valley in France.
"The addition of these great wines to the Limited Edition portfolio will further enhance our collection of small production, artisan, French wines," said Marc Gallant, President and CEO of Limited Edition Imports, Inc. "With this acquisition, we will be able to introduce many new, exciting and hard to find wines to the Connecticut market," Gallant said.
Among the wines included in the portfolio are wines from Quincy, Vouvray, Pouilly-Fume, and otherLoire Valley AOCs. The Loire Valley is known for producing outstanding white wines primarily from Savignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc and red wines made from Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir. Many of the wines in the portfolio are organic or are produced using biodynamic methods.
Over the course of the next three months, Limited Edition will integrate these new wines into their French portfolio and make them available to their restaurant and retail customers throughout Connecticut.
