Mason Industries Releases New Seismic Restraint Products

Dec 03, 2010

HAPPAUGE, NY -- Offering seismic restraint and architectural isolation products, Mason Industries just started offering a new series of ball joints and stainless steel bellows expansion joints. The company also received UL and NFPA approval for its series of flexible stainless steel and bronze vee's, which are designed to be used in sprinkler and fire safety systems.

Specializing in vibration isolation, Mason is carrying the new products in a broad selection of sizes (1/2 an inch to 16 inches), lengths (up to 10 feet in some styles), and combinations of end fittings (including fixed and floating flanges, male ends, grooved ends, copper sweat ends and weld ends). The company also offers the in-house capacity to manufacture just about any unique stainless steel or bronze flexible assemblies.

The company's new stainless steel bellows expansion joints are rated for up to 250 psi, and can be ordered with weld or flanged ends. They are stocked in sizes of 2 to16 inches. The new ball joint products are rated for 250 psi, and are available with either weld or flanged ends - they come in sizes 2 to 14 inches.

The flexible vee's, now approved by UL and NFPA, can be ordered in sizes ½ an inch to 8 inches.
"Our company is always striving to build on our successes and to solve the concerns other companies fail to address," observed Mike Leuck, CIO of Mason Industries, an architectural Isolation company.
