PacTex and Havasu Pipeline Projects Accepting Shipper Contracts

Jul 14, 2007

PHOENIX, ARIZONA -- Pacific Texas Corporation has begun its open season process for long term shipper commitments on its two proposed products pipeline projects which would originate from El Paso, Texas and runs to Phoenix, Arizona and then on to Las Vegas, Nevada. This pipeline system will also include product terminals near Phoenix, and south of Las Vegas. The pipelines will have the latest in safety and security technology for cost savings to the shippers.

Several refinery groups in Texas have given their letters of intent to supply gasoline, diesel and jet fuel via pipelines to the PacTex El Paso terminal for shipment to the Southwest Market. This project will lower the cost of fuel in the region by bringing in refined products from Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. Both pipelines are expected to be completed by 2009.

The open season process is expected to last from July 1st through August 15th.
