Elite Medical Transport Awarded New 911 Ambulance Contract

EL PASO, TX -- The City has selected Elite Medical Transport (EMT) as its exclusive Basic Life Support ambulance provider, beginning June 8th, 2011. EMT prevailed in a recent Request for Proposal process that sought an ambulance provider to support the existing Advanced Life Support services delivered by the El Paso Fire Department. "Our selection represents a very important milestone for our growing organization; we are privileged to work with the El Paso Fire Department. Since learning of the City's intent to award the contract to EMT, the company has begun the process of reengineering the company's operations to exceed the expectations of the fire department. EMT's Chief Operating Officer, Lee King, has been instrumental in facilitating negotiations and planning a turn-key implementation for the new ambulance service.
