LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY -- BridgePoint Medical, LLC announced today that Brian Gustin, CP has joined the company's executive team and will assume the responsibility of Chief Clinical Officer over all of the company's orthotic and prosthetic facilities.
Brian is an ABC certified prosthetist with over 26 years of clinical experience; he has the unique experience of being both an owner who sold his practice and a practitioner from a well established family run practice. Brian sold his five office practice, Wisconsin P&O, to Benchmark Medical in 2005, after 32 years of operation. As the President of Wisconsin P&O, he managed all aspects of the business and successfully guided the expansion of the practice to include a separate stand alone practice in partnership with Chris Boosalis C.P. in Minnesota.
Over the tenure of his practice Brian built an industry recognized expertise in coding, documentation and clinical procedures and has presented the prosthetics portion of the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association's Coding and Billing Seminar series and developed the clinical portion of the Documentation seminar series. Currently Brian is the President elect of AOPA, the industry's leading trade association for the past 90 years, and will be helping to guide the governance of that organization from a membership and government relations standpoint. Brian has also consulted for various manufacturers and private insurance companies helping them to better understand billing compliance and product applications for new Medicare codes. As Chief Clinical Officer for BridgePoint Medical Brian will be the company's senior executive in charge of overseeing all clinical aspects of the company's orthotic and prosthetic facilities.
