First Century Christian Adds Page For Preachers

SURPRISE, AZ -- First Century Christian, preaching the Gospel to the entire world, today announced the addition to its website of a new section entitled "A Page for Preachers" which will assist ministers in facing and triumphing over the many challenges that arise in their work. Church members who read these pages will have a better biblical understanding of the duties and responsibilities of their ministers and have more realistic expectations of the men chosen to lead their congregations.

First Century Christian exists to promote bible study and to show the reasonableness and practicality of worshiping and serving God as did earliest Christians. The site offers a broad selection of information on biblical themes. It provides basic studies on scores of bible subjects and an extensive library of questions and answers on biblical themes.  There are detailed studies of what it means to restore Christianity to its original biblical base.  The site provides a Christian perspective on such themes as moral and ethical issues, family values, societal matters, and contemporary religious issues. Responses are also provided to the antagonists of Christianity and the advocates of unbelief.

"When Christ designed his church, he included public teachers of his word who are variously identified as preachers, evangelists and ministers. From the pages of the New Testament of Christ we discover the responsibilities and duties of those servants of the church who preach," said John Waddey, editor of First Century Christian. He goes on to say, "I have spent some 50 years in the study of God's Word, serving both as minister of local churches and a number of years in training young men to be effective preachers. I offer these lessons with the sincere wish that they will benefit young men traveling that same road."

The articles posted in the newly expanded "A Page for Preachers" section of the web site, continues Waddey, "contain my thoughts on the privileges, duties and rewards of preaching the gospel. They are designed to help ministers in their growth and fulfillment of their duties as men of God. They will also help them deal with the problems they will encounter as they serve the Master."
