Mar 04, 2011

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL -- The Villas at New Port Richey, an assisted living facility specializing in Alzheimer's and dementia care held their Grand Opening Ceremony on Thursday, February 23rd, 2011.

The ceremony marks the official opening of this newly renovated building that was purchased last year and is now been under the management of Morningside Management LLC. of Leesburg, VA.

Morningside Management LLC operates nine assisted living and dementia care buildings throughout Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Florida and is widely known in the industry and in their communities for their commitment to service in senior living. Morningside has enjoyed an outstanding reputation within those communities and routinely receives "deficiency free" surveys or audits from State entities within the past seventeen years of operations.

According to Kelly Mason, Chief Executive Officer for Morningside Management LLC., "We continually strive to meet or exceed the state's standards at each of our communities and we are excited to bring this same level of commitment to The Villas at Sunset Bay."

"We are one of the only women owned and operated Senior Living management companies in the nation which we attribute greatly to our success. Most of the families that we work with are being cared for by females just like us who are not only mothers, wives, and daughters but also primary caregivers. We feel this unique perspective allows us to better empathize with our residents and their families because we ourselves have shared these same experiences," adds Ms. Mason.

The Villas at Sunset Bay offers 77 newly renovated private and semi-private studios featuring spacious bathrooms and closets. The community features an upscale hair salon, onsite rehabilitation, group and individual social activities, restaurant style dining, well- appointed gathering areas including a screened-in patio with seating, a state of the art community hall for events, onsite pharmacy services, and visits from physicians in the community.
