EVS' SAS 70 Type II audit included a thorough examination of the following key areas; Executive Tone and Senior Management Decision Making Processes, Human Resources, Customer Solution Design and Customer Contract Processes, Customer Support Services/Incident Management, Change Management, Logical Security, Network Security, Physical Security-Corporate, Physical Security-Data Center, Environmental Security-Corporate Facilities, Environmental Security-Data Center, Computer Operations and Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity
EVS opted for a SAS 70 Type II audit, which requires a minimum of a six month testing period covering the above referenced key areas. Critical documentation and intensive testing of EVS was conducted for the period of April 1, 2008 to September 30, 2008, resulting in the company being awarded SAS 70 Type II compliance.
The EVS audit was conducted by NDB, LLP, a nationally recognized CPA firm specializing in SAS 70 audits utilizing a rigorous process-based testing methodology consistent with AICPA auditing standards. An additional section within the SAS 70 allows organizations an option of including material, documents, or statements relevant to their control environment. EVS' firm commitment to Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning included a brief statement on their BCDRP plans and contact information.
