When someone dials the toll free number, the customer can set up the system to allow callers to press a number on their phonepad to choose different extensions. Some choose to do something like: 'Press 1 for customer service, Press 2 for accounting, Press 3 for sales...'. Others may choose to set up separate extensions for business and personal use.
Customers have the option to have phone calls coming in from the toll free number forwarded to phone, or go into voicemail. Management of the extensions and voicemail greetings is done through a web interface, allowing one of the most customizable solutions in the industry.
